The increasing complexity of construction projects due to regulations, laws, risk management, technological advances are increasing the demand for managers with specialized knowledge in the industry. You'll learn standards for construction & trades materials, safety, energy efficiency, environmental protection, & mitigating potential litigation. Sophistication in building materials, construction methods, & technologies are needed to repair & expand infrastructure. Student will: Gain knowledge of a variety of methods of professional communication (orally & written) for construction & trades audiences Recognize legal, ethical, & safety issues & apply professional & Christian standards in decision making & problem solving while minimizing risk Apply modern methods of electronic technology, cost estimating & control, project scheduling & management Learn field inspection techniques & safety standards One can transfer in up to 84 credits from an accredited institution. This program is offered

Rolling admission with start dates every 8 weeks throughout the year.
Program curriculum provides the student with the education necessary to be successful in their chosen field. Each student is assigned an Academic and Career Advisor who assists them throughout their program.
Concordia University has a genuine desire to work with partners in the community. Companies who agree to partner are able to access customized professional development opportunities and employer spotlight recruiting opportunities. Employees of partner companies receive a Business Community Scholarship. Employees of partner School Districts receive an Academic Community scholarship.
Every Concordia student has access to Handshake, the largest internship and job-search platform designed specifically for college students. Internships complement coursework and help students discover how their gifts and talents are best used in the workplace. Students have access to thousands of internships and full-time jobs in Wisconsin and nationwide.
Concordia University Wisconsin provides tutors for students requesting help in their courses.
